So Marcus, my eldest was nearly bald until he was 2 years old. He had very fine, thin, white-blond hair but he looked bald. So every once in a while I'd lay my hair on his little head and we'd giggle thinking this is something along the lines of what he might look like once he grew his own hair. Matt and I both have brown hair, so this was an easy assumption.
And so it came to pass that he did indeed grow a nice mane of thick luxurious hair but instead of my dark chocolate brown he grew an unfamiliar but nevertheless beautiful honey gold...(it always reminds me of Silas Marner, my little pile of gold).
So tonight as we watched AFV, his favorite show, I walked behind him and lay my hair over his (not so little anymore) head. It never ceases to amuse me and everyone else in my family. I will probably keep doing it until, god forbid, I should go bald.
(Still trying to figure out a way to share my eyebrows...)
