The Vampire Diaries by L.J. Smith were some of my least favorite vampire books (and I have read a few) so naturally the series on CW was, for lack of a better word, crap.
Terrible dialogue and bad acting at its finest. Damon was the only character that I felt was even a little bit believable (and I didn't believe him). He's definitely channeling a young Rob Lowe.
The only up side to me watching the show is that I got an hour all to myself, Matt put the boys to bed and brought me clothes to fold and tea to sip.
Next Thursday I will be skipping V.D. (the show, not the disease...although I will skip that too).
